I am one of the survivors of the 1972 plane crash in the Andes. After the accident I went to live in Buenos Aires, where I studied at the University of Buenos Aires and graduated with a degree in Economics in 1976. Then I obtained a MBA at Stanford University, where I graduated in 1982.
I married Marie Noelle Sauval in 1974. We make a great couple and have 3 children, María Fernanda, María Cecila and José Pablo. Today they are three independent boys, walking in the world and pursuing their own projects.
I have been employed at several companies such as Cervecería Quilmes, Peñaflor, Campofrío, Cepas Argentinas and the Organization Techint. Now I devote myself to my work as a consultant, to giving my testimony and thinking about what happened to us in the Andes, and to running a farm that we have acquired in Uruguay .
